Recently, Joe Rogan opened up about why Kamala Harris was unable to join him on his podcast as the 2024 election approaches. While Rogan had a much-publicized episode with former President Donald Trump in October, Harris’s absence raised eyebrows.
During his conversation with Trump, Rogan expressed a desire to invite Harris, who was serving as vice president at that time. However, attempts made to coordinate with her team did not result in an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” a show that enjoys a massive following of 14.5 million listeners on Spotify.
In a recent episode featuring guest Dan Richards, Rogan disclosed that scheduling conflicts were a significant factor in Harris’s non-appearance. He had already scheduled a live UFC podcast for the same day they considered interviewing her, which complicated the logistics.
Rogan took the opportunity to clarify that although discussions took place about having Harris on the show, some claims in a new book regarding his demands for the podcast were inaccurate. He underscored that her team had not confirmed her participation, leading to misunderstandings around the scheduling of guests.
Even though the chance to interview Harris did not materialize, Rogan remains dedicated to providing thought-provoking discussions on his platform. While the interview with Harris may not have happened, he continues to engage a variety of guests and explore a wide array of topics on his acclaimed podcast.
